Steam Whistle Brewing Presents
YOU SAY PARTY! WE SAY DIE! (BC)
British Columbia's You Say Party! We Say Die! (aka YSP!WSD!) are back! Having reinvented themselves with their spirited style of New-Wave, and a new depth of material, the band is excited to announce the details of their much-anticipated third release, XXXX, out on Paper Bag Records on Sept. 29th. YSP!WSD! has embraced soul, feeling, and rhythm while still bearing the tenets of their original sound, which caused critics around the globe to embrace the band's first two albums, Hit the Floor! and Lose All Time.

THINK ABOUT LIFE (Montreal)
Think About Life have been causing panic on Montreal dance floors since just a little before they were personally invited by Wolf Parade (Sub Pop) to be their support act during last year’s North American autumn tour.
“Think About Life builds a bridge from swiriling chaos to kindly pop, but the bridge is a shaky beast that tends to collapse into the sea and capsize any onlooking vessel. Shows can meltdown to oblivion or soar to ecstacy or implode after one song with police intervention. The sounds range from manic to troubled to tender to silly, exploding every emotion at once into a thousand pieces at the bottom of a canyon. TAL reassembles this raw material into a worldview rooted in thunder-storms, roller-coasters, clowns, sea-beasts, romance, fireworks, massive sphinxes, basketball championships, chivalric knighthoods, snowmen, children, videos, hamlets, sunglasses, and YOU.”

LITTLE GIRLS
It all started when McIntyre recorded a few songs in his home studio as a side project in early 2009. Seeking the unbiased opinions from friends and musical peers he anonymously posted the music on the internet
under the name "Little Girls," a name he believed least likely to reveal his identity. His influences come from the 80's no-wave post-punk scene, and the early 80's golden era of hip-hop. Equally influential are the late hip-hop artist J. Dilla, as well as Can, Joy Division, Wire, and The Clean. Other Little Girls releases have been handled by Mexican Summer and Captured Tracks. Since then, the band has played several dates with Japandroids, and was asked to perform at the Woodsist/Captured Tracks Festival in NYC alongside Crystal Stilts, Vivian Girls, Kurt Vile and Thee Oh Sees among others this past July. Little Girls havel be played a string of Canadian dates with Japandroids, Monotonix and Wavves in the fall in support of Concepts' release.
